Parents/guardians of Group Leaders/LITs under the age of 18 will be contacted to provide a reference, and so waivers can be completed. By providing your parent/guardian name and email, you are giving permission for Emmanuel to contact him or her for a reference.
GROUP LEADERS must have completed grade 9 or higher as of June 2024. A Group Leader is responsible for the supervision and safety of their group of campers. They are expected to follow the instructions of the Directors.
LEADERS IN TRAINING (LITs) must be 12 years of age or older and have completed grade 6 to grade 8 as of June 2024. An LIT will be working with a Group Leader to help, supervise and ensure the safety of their group of campers. They are expected to follow the instructions of the Directors and Group Leaders.
PLEASE NOTE: Information about the mandatory Day Camp Staff Training Session will be provided at your interview.
REFERENCES : Please provide two people who may be contacted for a reference. Please ask permission to include this person as a reference. We ask that your references be over the age of 16 and that you do not include any relatives or Emmanuel Pastors on this list.

Safe Church training is mandatory for all volunteers working with children. If you have not yet completed Safe Church training the next session will be on Saturday, April 27th, 9am-11:30am. We will send you a link in your confirmation email to sign up for the Safe Church Training. There is no cost to attend. The following questions are related to our Safe Church screening process, and do not necessarily disqualify you from serving. If you would prefer to discuss these questions in person, please indicate that below. Your answers are confidential and will only be shared with our Kids Community/Day Camp or Youth Directors if necessary.
